BACKFLOW INSPECTION NOTICE:
Homeowner's, if you received a backflow notice in the mail you have a backflow installed on your water meter that needs to be tested. If you have not received a letter in the mail we will be notifying you of testing in the near future.
By testing your backflow devise you are helping to protect the public potable water from backflow of dangerous substances, pollution, or contamination, which would endanger the public health or physically damage the public water system.
Bulk Water Station is open:
We are located at 756 Hwy 133 in the Public Works Yard. Our hours are 7:00am-3:00 pm Monday through Friday.
You will need an access code and pin to operate the station. Please call 970-510-1350 for more information.
AVOID FROZEN WATER LINES:
If your water service line has frozen in the past, turn one faucet on with a pencil-thin stream of water to prevent frozen pipes. A billing adjustment will be applied to your water bill to compensate for this extra water usage at the end of the winter months.
Please contact the Utility Department if you have taken this action so an adjustment can be applied to your account.
The Utilities Department includes both the Water and Sewer Department and Town Waste Hauling Services with Mountain Waste
For current meter or backflow prices please contact the Utilities office at 970-963-3140.
